Joseph Tashjian – Electrical

Ocean County College

Joe started at Engineered Design Group as an autocad operator in the summer of 2004 and has worked under the direct tutelage of professional engineers to progress as an electrical designer and project manager.  Joe has been involved in the planning, design, management and construction support within the architectural/engineering industry for over 10 years.

One of Joe’s most valuable assets is his experience and knowledge of a multitude of construction types including supermarkets/retail buildings, schools, offices, manufacturing and healthcare facilities.  Being involved in a diverse group of construction types gives him a strong engineering base and the ability to apply this knowledge to various design scenarios.   Joe has been involved in a multitude of fast paced projects and as a result has developed the ability to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining good design standards and reliability.

Joe has taken many steps to advance his knowledge in the area of green energy design, including taking a solar pv and thermal energy class at NYU as well as a LEED course at Rutgers University.  He continues to keep up on the latest research and will continue to learn additional green energy electrical design techniques to stay current with the ever changing technology of today’s green energy movement.
